Founded in 2016 by Gary McMaster, G2 Garage began as a humble one-bay establishment housed in an old, run-down building equipped with basic hand tools and a smile. Gary’s commitment to helping others, alongside his daily job in the oil and gas industry, laid the foundation for the business. After a decade of experience, Gary, encouraged by his family, friends, and clients, decided to turn his passion into a thriving business. Despite facing challenges, G2 Garage has evolved from its modest beginnings to encompass three bays, four lifts, and a dedicated team of five individuals daily. This growth is a testament to Gary’s unwavering commitment to providing quality and honest automotive services to White Settlement and the surrounding area.
Gary McMaster, the proud owner of G2 Garage, is no stranger to the world of automotive craftsmanship. Growing up immersed in a family that prioritized building hotrods and maintaining their vehicles, Gary’s journey began early. At 16, he took a job with Cherokee Racing, a racing company, where he honed his skills. Gary’s passion for cars was evident from swapping engines in the pits during nationals to overseeing an entire car build and mastering suspension setups. Despite being offered a potential position on the pit crew for the Craftsman Truck Series, he prioritized family and declined the offer. Before founding G2 Garage, Gary was the crew chief for over 25 cars and drivers, accomplishing all of this before he turned 18. Today, his dedication to quality and honesty drives the success of G2 Garage, providing the community with unparalleled automotive services.
